BIO

I am an artist based in Sunderland, UK, and my practice considers and responds to the human condition.

I use text with still and moving image and there is always a link to analogue or digital photography, which is where my artistic journey began and continues. Acrylics, oils and canvas play a prominent role in my practice, and I often try to bring different media together as I feel each can offer their own inimitable elements to a project.

I graduated from The University of Sunderland with a First Class Honours Degree in Photography, Video and Digital Imaging and am currently working towards an MA in Contemporary Fine Art.
